NAKOH Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) will strive to handle customers’ personal information and specific personal information appropriately in accordance with the following policies.


1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

The Company will properly handle personal information and specific personal information in compliance with the “My Number Act,” the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information,” other relevant laws and regulations, the “Guidelines for the Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information (for Business Operators),” and internal company rules.


2. Acquisition and Use of Personal Information

When the Company acquires personal information directly in writing from customers, business partners, or employees, the purpose of use will be clearly indicated. In other cases, the purpose of use will be notified or publicly announced. Except when prior consent is obtained from customers, business partners, or employees, or when permitted by law, the Company will not use personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the stated purpose of use.


3. Management of Personal Information

The Company will take necessary measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and manage it appropriately. The Company will also provide proper supervision of employees regarding the handling of personal information and, when outsourcing such handling, ensure that contractors also manage personal information appropriately.


4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

Except when prior consent is obtained from customers, business partners, or employees (including when outsourcing personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use), or when permitted by law, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties.


5. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information

When customers, business partners, or employees request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc. of their personal information, the Company will confirm that the request is made by the individual concerned and respond in accordance with applicable laws.


6. Provision of Specific Personal Information

Except when permitted by law, the Company will not provide specific personal information of business partners or employees to third parties.


7. Matters Concerning Safety Management Measures

The Company will take necessary and appropriate safety management measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and specific personal information. The Company will also conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of employees and contractors (including subcontractors) who handle such information. In addition, the Company has established separate “Personal Information and Specific Personal Information Safety Management Regulations.”


8. Development of Internal Systems

The Company will appoint a person responsible for the handling of customers’, business partners’, and employees’ personal information and specific personal information, strive for continuous improvement, and maintain a sufficiently secure management system.
